We don’t mean to brag, but we have the best couples around Michigan. (Or Chicago, or Indiana, or Florida, or ANYWHERE!). When a couple books a wedding photography package with us, we love to add them on Facebook or Instagram for many reasons. It’s a convenient place to connect, share wedding day details, and communicate plans. But our super secret reason we add our brides and grooms on social media is to follow along with their lives and watch their love story grow. We love to follow along with their adventures, their accomplishments, and the adorable little things they do for each other to express their love. And if we had to pick a winner for the couple who is the CUTEST online? Easy. Hands down it’s Maria and Philip.
Maria and Philip have a beautiful love story and watching their love grow has been one of the more rewarding aspects of our jobs! We connected with them immediately and have developed a friendship that will last long after the wedding day! Their engagement session has been something we have been looking forward to for months now!! They did an amazing job of picking out the PERFECT dress and suit combo. And all their work shows, they did good!
Utterly Romantic Flower Field Engagement
We originally planned on Robinette’s Apple Haus for their engagement session, but this year Michigan weather has been throwing a wrench in May engagement sessions. We had to reschedule the original engagement session day because of rain. Shortly before the engagement session day, the apple blossoms turned to green buds. We were all disappointed but Maria and Philip trusted us to find a new location. And since we are CONSTANTLY looking for new and fun places to shoot, we already had a backup plan….
Leidy had been scoping out an attractive little flower field for engagement photos at Buck Creek Park in Wyoming, Michigan. Covered in purple and white flowers, she knew it would photograph beautifully. As usual, she was right! Maria and Philip’s flower field engagement pictures turned out AMAZING!
After starting at Buck Creek Park we moved to the Grand Rapids Art Museum for one of our favorite spots for an urban look. Maria and Philip were fully prepared with a second stylish upscale outfit for this spot. These two locations look amazing together and we are very happy with how everything turned out!
Maria & Phillip
Maria and Philip, we are so glad we got the chance to finally meet you in person. We felt like we knew you guys before we actually met. We have never had that experience with a couple before! You guys are so much fun, both online and in person. We cannot express how excited we are for your wedding. A Game of Thrones themed wedding! When you both reached out to us, we were over the moon with excitement. And as we get closer to the wedding day, we are only becoming more so. Your love for each other grows by the day and is evident in everything you do. Following your sweet adventures together online, building your home, your crazy little dog, we love all of it! We are so happy you two have overcome the obstacles life has thrown at you to achieve the amazing relationship you have today. Guys, we had such a hard time deciding which photos to put in your blog. We love all of them! Here are just a few!!
