Tunnel Park Beach Engagement

“Okay look at the ground, look at Bethany, look at Jeffrey, look at the ground…”

This engagement session at Tunnel Park beach was SO MUCH FUN!  Bethany and Josh, you guys were hilarious.  We can’t stop laughing at Josh’s giggle kiss. (Yeeeeeeeee!). We were so glad Jeffrey could meet us out at the beach in Holland to film your engagement session.  The photography and videography turned out AMAZING!

Tunnel Park Beach Engagement

We decided upon a beach theme for Bethany and Josh’s engagement session.  It is a perfect fit for their nautical theme wedding this July.  When it comes to picking a beach for an engagement session, the best beaches are on one of The Great Lakes.  The lakes inland are beautiful but the beaches on Lake Michigan give an almost ocean-like vibe.  The calm waves lapping up on the sandy beach, the occasional driftwood log that washed ashore, and the sunsets are absolutely stunning.

The days leading up to the engagement session were rainy, cloudy and a little chilly.  You would swear that it isn’t summer here in Michigan!  But thankfully the weather cleared for Bethany and Josh.  Just in time too because their wedding day is just around the corner!!

What we loved most about this session was how snuggly these two would get for each shot.  And everything just looks DREAMY on the lakeshore!

Bethany and Josh, thank you for trying out our crazy ideas!!  Your engagement pictures look amazing as a result of your trust in us. We cannot wait to feature you guys in the latest version of the LJ Engagement Session Guide.  Josh (the groom), you did great with the videography walking footage.  We know it must have felt awkward but the pictures and video look great!!
