It was a delight to meet Anjali and Josh for their romantic Silver Lake Sand Dunes Engagement Photos. Anjali is a wedding planner and found us on Instagram.

Josh and Anjali met while in college but were attending different universities. Their very first interaction was memorable, and they felt a connection immediately. Josh didn’t know he was searching for his soulmate, but he knew he had found someone special. They developed a beautiful friendship, which blossomed into a relationship over the years. Looking back, they understand why there was such a magnetic connection as their hearts were a perfect match for one another.

When Josh was ready to propose to Anjali, he chose the perfect engagement ring! Anjali’s engagement ring is a bespoken piece in the iconic Chelsea setting by French designer and great-great-grandson of Louis Cartier, Jean Dousset. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and discerning taste, Chelsea boasts 122 diamonds, including Jean Dousset’s signature hidden stone. This ring matches Anjali’s personality and beauty perfectly.

Working with Anjali to create and design a setting for their Silver Lake Sand Dunes engagement was enjoyable. This setting allowed their love to come forth with its true expression captured in front of the camera. We take a photojournalistic approach to each wedding and engagement session. By creating photographs that capture the FEELING of the moment, we allow our couples to recall more than just what the moment looked like. Taking photos of everyone’s natural beauty and their true personalities is important to us.

Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Michigan made for the perfect location for this engagement session. There is no better feeling than a warm summer sunset and adventuring through the dunes with your loved one. The nearly 2,000 acres of sand dunes are nestled between Lake Michigan and Silver Lake.

Their picnic is reminiscent of romance with its soft color palette and decor. The couple included France-inspired touches to honor the groom’s time abroad. Everything was picture perfect and artfully designed by this talented bride and wedding planner.

After we were done with their engagement photos, Josh and Anjali chose to stay after and catch the sunset. While the sun was lowering, they sipped on their champagne and walked the dunes hand in hand. As they were enjoying their time, we recorded a short video of them, and they were delighted to watch this back.
