Romantic Tunnel Park Beach Engagement

As self-proclaimed Michigan beach wedding photographers, Nicole and Brandon’s summer romantic Tunnel Park Beach engagement session was a welcomed treat. Each year, no matter where we go in life, our photography draws us back to the beach. Time and time again, we seek inspiration and excitement among the calming waves and warm sand. We are incredibly blessed to live on the West side of Michigan where the sun sets over Lake Michigan. The golden glow of the setting sun reflecting off the crystal clear waters of Lake Michigan gives our couples a luminous glow that perfectly highlights the love they have for one another. The combination makes for pictures that you can’t recreate anywhere else.

We met Nicole and Brandon one sunny evening at the lakeshore to achieve just that. As a side note, Nicole and Brandon are technically both injured with a potential shoulder surgery on the way. Both sports-related and nothing terribly serious. But looking back through those images, you could never tell. It delights our souls to see them celebrate their love and season of engagement pictures despite everything else going on in their lives. Tunnel Park Beach engagement was perfect for them, especially since Nicole loves all things Holland.

For us, this marks one of the last summer beach engagement sessions of the year. It has been a year that we won’t soon forget. Both marked by tremendous loss and unimaginable growth. This summer has left us feeling a little conflicted because we are unsure if it was good or not? But we suppose that decision truly lies on how you choose to look at life. Seeing those ups and downs as life and choosing to look at even the downs as part of the growth process. With that perspective in mind, then the good certainly shines through with so much accomplished this year. It leaves us optimistic and excited for all the second half of the year has to offer and the promise of good things to come.

For now, we will continue to enjoy the beauty of Tunnel Park Beach engagement sessions, as the summer slips away and fall color fill the horizon. It was here last year that we photographed Krystal and Nolan’s engagement. It’s curious how these sunsets never cease to amaze us!
