This year has bee one where nothing has gone according to plan. At the start of each year, we sit down and map out our goals for the year. We had so many plans for creating new content, designing a new bridal guide, and so much more. But just like everyone this year, we have been forced to either resist or pivot. And as well all know, what you resist, persists. So we made some difficult decisions and pivoted our plans and goals. And for us, it has actually turned out to be better than our original plan. Yes, our last minute reworking of our business and new plans have propelled and in ways we didn’t know we needed to grow. The result has been nothing short of remarkable and we can happily say that the 2021 versions of ourselves will be much stronger than what we originally planned on.
For Jasmine and Josh, (just like so many others this year!) they are no exception to this. They originally had wedding plans for earlier in the year and made several difficult decisions causing them to pivot. And their rescheduled wedding and ended up being more delightful than anyone could have anticipated. We’ll never know if it was “better” than the original wedding plan but we certainly couldn’t image how. The sense of unity felt among family and friends was made stronger by knowing the effort it took to get everyone there.
Thank you Jasmine and Josh for inviting us into your profoundly special day.
