When you fall in love, the world feels new. It's as if everything is happening for the first time. That's why we love photographing weddings. Each wedding has us falling in love over and over again—it reminds us that there is wonder and mystery in this shared life we all build together. The most aspirational thing to us is rekindling that initial spark of falling in love. We want to give you that experience with your wedding photos, perfectly captured and forever remembered. It's here, in our journal, we celebrate your love story so all can enjoy it.

Despite all it’s faults, the sunny July 2020 weather couldn’t be more perfect for a Michigan backyard wedding. And with so many weddings rescheduling to backyard ceremony and receptions, we are beyond grateful for it. It truly is a blessing to our couples and their families which for us, is what this is all about.

Speaking of family, people often say (including us) that family is the most important thing. And that sentiment truly showed for Alexis and Jacob on their wedding day. Because of Alexis and Jacob’s family and friends, they were able to pull off an incredible wedding even when last-minute restrictions had required them to change their plans. Their wedding wouldn’t have been possible without the love, support, and generosity from their family and friends.

In Michigan, there are plenty of beautiful backyards. But few are as captivating as the backyard of the Anderson family residence. The Andersons were incredibly gracious and donated their time and space to host Alexis and Jacob’s wedding. And we have to admit, weddings like this are really making us really enjoy the Michigan backyard wedding setting.
