One reason why we love to shoot Michigan Lakeshore engagement sessions is because the sun sets over the lake. Imagine if we lived in Wisconsin on the other side of the lake? Yes, the view would be beautiful in the morning but we would have to shoot sunrise engagement sessions to get the same effect. And while this would be okay with Josh, Leidy is definitely NOT a morning person and would much rather shoot in the evening for sunset versus sunrise to do a beautiful session like Florinda and Joseph’s or Taylor and Ricky’s.
Michigan Lakeshore Engagement
Florinda asked us to do something soft and romantic for her engagement pictures. So naturally we thought of the beach. In the late summer, the weather is still comfortable for the Lakeshore so it was a perfect fit for them. When Florinda and Joseph pulled up to Tunnel Park, we were so impressed with how stunning they both looked. Joseph in a well-tailored suit and Florinda in an elegant dress, we knew right away they were going to be a lot of fun to photograph.

And your sister was so cute and helpful, we should have gotten a picture with her too! We are excited to hear that wedding planning is coming together, the big day is just around the corner. Joseph, we hope you enjoyed the Michigan Lakeshore! While we have never been to New York City, we imaged that the Michigan Lakeshore is a very different experience from the Long Island Sound.
