Each wedding has us falling in love over and over again—it reminds us that there is wonder and mystery in this shared life we all build together. We have this ongoing joke that there is always a little girl with short blonde hair in a bright pink shirt following us around to all of our shoots. She was there in Chicago, running around the background Cloud Gate while we are photographing Emily and Daniel’s engagement session. She was in Nashville, running up the steps of the Parthenon while we were trying to get a wide-angle shot with Amanda and Jason. She was frolicking in the peony garden during Yunie and Lance’s engagement shoot. She was climbing the sand dunes at Silver Lake during Tabitha and Cody’s engagement session. And she was running up the beach in the background at Melissa and Evan’s Holland beach engagement session! Okay, to be fair, it’s probably not the same little girl (that would be crazy) and she, fortunately, hasn’t shown up on a wedding day. Though if she did, we would laugh. At first, we thought this was just a coincidence, but it has become a running joke for us so now we are going to start documenting it.

Tunnel Park Holland Beach Engagement

We arrived at Tunnel Park beach a little early and suggested that Melissa and Evan take their time meeting us. They took us up on that offer and got Little Caesar’s pizza for dinner. If you know Melissa and Even, this won’t surprise you! These two were waaaaaaay too much fun to photograph. Like we should have been paying them! Posing just came naturally and they looked SO in love doing it! It shows in every picture!

Oh my goodness guys, we know you would be fun to hang out with but we didn’t realize just how MUCH fun that would be! Your engagement session was a blast! You two are so bubbly and silly together and we LOVE it! We were excited for the wedding before but we are even more excited now. Thank you for letting us play our, “Who gets the sneak peek” game! I guess we will just have to see who gets the sneak peek for the wedding day! And speaking of the wedding day…we are ready to order Little Caesars delivery as a “Just Married.” celebration for you guys! Your wedding is going to be amazing! We cannot wait!
