We have photographed a lot of weddings this year but Maria and Philip’s Michigan Renaissance Wedding will be one that we won’t soon forget! This was a true Renaissance wedding complete with renaissance attire, sword fighting, and feasting. It was so much fun to have different props to work with for Maria and Philip’s photos. We have never worked with swords before but Maria and Philip let us try some different things out and we are so glad they did! The pictures turned out great!
Michigan Renaissance Wedding
Ever since we first stepped into the Renaissance Festival, we have wondered what a Renaissance wedding would be like. We have heard of people getting married at the Renaissance Festival itself. But Maria and Philip didn’t need to go all the way to Holly, Michigan to have a Michigan Renaissance wedding, they brought the Renaissance Festival to the West side of Michigan!

Maria and Philip, thank you so much for inviting us to be a part of your Michigan Renaissance! You guys are such a sweet couple and we were honored to play a small part! We are so grateful to have met both of you and we value how our friendship has grown over this past year! Your wedding will always stick out in our minds as one of our fondest! And….maybe your Utterly Romantic Flower Field engagement session too. I doubt someone will ever throw a water balloon at us during an engagement session again!
