It’s always exciting to scout new locations for engagement sessions and Hemlock Crossing in West Olive did not disappoint. It was full of wildflowers and numerous overlooks offer scenic views of the river, wetlands, natural springs, and woods. There are so many good spots at Hemlock Crossing, the trouble was picking our favorite place to start!
Hemlock Crossing Engagement
Natalie and Jordan picked out Hemlock Crossing for their engagement pictures prior to the shoot. We had just attended Leidy’s little sister’s wedding rehearsal dinner which finished with enough time for us to get to Hemlock Crossing before Natalie and Jordan to scout the area. Almost immediately, Leidy was drawn to the beautiful wetland field opposite to the woods. These fields might actually be wet in the spring or early summer. But this has been a dry summer so the ground wasn’t even damp for us to walk through. Which was exactly Leidy’s plan for golden hour portraits.
Natalie and Jordan
Thank you so much, you two! Hemlock Crossing in West Olive is a beautiful little spot, we loved it! We will definitely be back for future engagement sessions and to bring our little dog Leesi for walks. You guys looked amazing out there and posed like pros. You haven’t done this before? Because you sure could have fooled us! =) And the thought and time you put into your outfits did not go unnoticed! It’s almost like someone gave you guys some pointers on what to wear before your engagement session. =)
We are so excited for your wedding next year at the Bissell Treehouse at John Ball Zoo! The venue is so classy and elegant, we know your wedding will be absolutely beautiful. Until then, here are a few of your beautiful engagement photos! We can’t wait to see you both again!
