We love to photograph engagement sessions downtown Grand Rapids. The architecture is really beautiful and there are so many great spots in close proximity to each other. We love it so much, we actually did some of our own engagement photos downtown Grand Rapids. There is a small loop of about 4 locations that we love to photograph at all within walking distance of each other. This is an ideal place to engagement pictures because you can get 4 very different looks without much travel. Plus, downtown there are several private spots to change between locations. And what we love about downtown Grand Rapids is that it is never so busy that we can’t shoot there. But busy enough to have a lively, city vibe.

Have you ever heard of World Photography Day? Yeah, we haven’t heard of it either and it actually was on the same day as Bethany and Rex’s engagement shoot. But honestly, even if we had known it was World Photography Day, we wouldn’t have spent it any differently than shooting Bethany and Rex’s engagement session! It was a beautiful even and the perfect way to celebrate.

Bethany and Rex, thank you so much for meeting us downtown Grand Rapids to do your engagement pictures! You guys looked soooooo good! Bethany, we love how much time and thought you put into your outfits. It REALLY shows! Also, we love how you shared some of our own photos with us for poses. We thought it was really sweet and endearing! You two are so much fun to work with, the wedding day is going to be a blast. Here are a few of our favorites from the engagement session!
