Honestly, we couldn’t have enjoyed this Rocky Mountain National Park fall engagement session any more than we did. The weather was absolutely perfect. Diana and Riley looked amazing. And the autumn setting in the Rocky Mountain literally blew our minds. As photographers, there are just certain photoshoots where everything clicks together perfectly like puzzle pieces. This shoot was certainly one of them.
We met Diana and Riley in the beautiful little mountain resort town, Estes Park in Colorado near Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) where we kicked off our shoot with a quick lunch of tacos and catching up on things since the last time we talked. Estes Park is a gorgeous retreat and we could spend weeks there enjoying all the sights of RMNP.
From there we traveled up into the Rocky Mountains. The park was utterly breathtaking. The gold and red pastel colors of autumn against the deep blue of the mountains and lakes, we could have spend hours just taking it all in. It was honestly like an enchanted forest from a fairytale with the beautiful colors and how friendly the wildlife is. The elk didn’t seem to mind us as we shot the engagement session and even the chipmunks would run right up to your outstretched hand.
While planning their Rocky Mountain National Park fall engagement shoot, Diana and Riley were so incredible to work with. Not only are they the sweetest couple, but they also gave us so many fantastic recommendations for things to try while in Denver, Colorado. If you are ever in Denver, we’d highly recommend trying Machete Tacos + Tequila (are you seeing a theme here with tacos?)
