There are some people who are just easy on the eyes. Some people are good for the heart. Chelsey and Collin are both. So when Chelsey asked us to do a winter maternity session at the elegant and historic Felt Mansion, it was an easy yes! We have known Chelsey and Collin for some time now and had a blast at their wedding a few years ago. They are just fun, positive people to be around and we suspected their maternity session would be no different. We were right!

We felt so honored to capture this season for Chelsey and Collin as they prepare to meet their sweet baby boy in just a few weeks! There’s nothing like celebrating such a special season that goes by entirely too fast! He will be their first son! We can’t wait to meet him! Although you’d never know it by looking at them, this maternity session was COLD. Like, we-just-had-a-polar-vortex cold in Michigan. Not only that, we were near Lake Michigan where the weather is always a few degrees colder and WINDY! But these two were up for anything and the cold hardly phased them. They were such troopers! Spending time with these two, it’s so clear this little boy is going to be welcomed with so much love.

Guys, we are so grateful you’ve invited us to be part of your life for these precious moments. We hope you love looking back on these photos we captured fondly because it is these precious memories we carry with us throughout our lives. We loved seeing the pure joy and love you two hold for each other. Congratulations again on the newest addition to your family! He is going to be a little cutie!
