“In life, there are bad moments, good moments, and then there are perfect moments. This is one of those perfect moments.”

Kara and Brett’s reception at Jordan Valley Barn was one of the most emotional and heart-filled receptions we ever attended. The father of the groom’s speech had us choked up behind our cameras the entire time. We have heard a lot of speeches in our career and the speeches at Kara and Brett’s wedding were some of the best. It was a testament to how tightly knit and their families are together, even now when their marriage is just starting.

Jordan Valley Barn

We had heard about the Jordan Valley Barn wedding venue but haven’t had the chance to make the trip up to East Jordan to check it out. So we arrived early on the morning of the wedding to scout the area and get set up. When we first saw the barn, we knew it would be perfect for Kara and Brett (and a great compliment to their engagement photos!) The wedding venue was absolutely adorable and the interior of the barn is perfectly laid out for a wedding reception. It is clear that that owner of the barn has put a great deal of thought and time into the decor. What impressed us the most was that the venue owner herself was present during the wedding day, serving drinks and attending to guests. That is something you usually don’t see!

Kara and Brett, thank you so much for inviting us into your family for the evening to witness and document your marriage together. We are so happy for both of you and hope that you enjoyed your honeymoon in Hawaii! You guys both deserve it! It has been a busy year for you two, but the adventure is just beginning!
