The sweet smell of the pine trees and flowers, the soft crunch of the forest floor, the birds singing overhead. In the woods, the hustle and bustle of city life melts away into the slow passage of time that you can only feel when you are close to Mother Nature. Even in the middle of the city, Provin Trails quickly takes you away on a forest retreat that is almost magical. It was the perfect location to shoot Kara and Brett’s Provin Trail forest engagement session.
Provin Trails Forest Engagement
Nestled on the north side of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Provin Trails park is one of our favorite spots. It’s proximity to Robinette’s Apple Haus and downtown Grand Rapids makes it an ideal first or second location for a two location engagement session. The woods are also an ideal spot for a midday engagement session. The shade from the trees protects our brides and grooms from the harsh light of the afternoon sun. Which is exactly what we did for Kara and Brett!
