Every year, we find ourselves going back to Robinette’s Apple Orchard during the springtime. Even if we weren’t wedding photographers, we would still go to admire the beautiful spring apple blossoms. There is something so peaceful and delightful to sit between the white flowering trees. If you go to Robinette’s Apple Orchard and close your eyes, you will smell the sweet scent of apple blossoms, hear the soft hum of the busy bees, and feel the warm sun on your neck. To us, this is the pure essence of spring.
As photographers, we love the beautiful and almost ethereal way the white apple blossoms at Robinette’s photograph. Especially when they are photographed with our film photography. There is such a small window when they peak every year, but it is definitely worth waiting for every year.
Timeless Bridal Boutique is one of our favorite bridal shops run by the incredibly talented Renae Boorsma. Based out of Hudsonville, Renae has worked with us many times for various styled shoots. This year, Renae wanted to showcase some of her new, trending dresses in a spring setting and we couldn’t think of a better location than Robinette’s Apple Orchard during the peak of the springtime apple blossoms. Working with Alyssa from Fleurology Design who provided the florals and Kristin from Beauty by KVB did the hair and makeup, the shoot turned out exquisite.
With the combination of everything with our film style photography and elegant posing, this has quickly become one of our favorite Robinette’s Apple Orchard shoots to date. The images will be featured in Wedding Day Magazine later this season. We can’t wait to share more but for now, here are a few of our favorites.
