One of the most popular spots for engagement photos in Grand Rapids is the Frederik Meijer Gardens, and it’s not hard to see why! The place is a wedding photographer’s dream. At every turn, there is another picture-perfect spot with beautiful architecture and every type of garden imaginable. We have known how amazing the Gardens photograph for summer engagement photos but this was our first chance shooting a fall engagement session here. And Frederik Meijer Gardens did not disappoint!
Frederik Meijer Gardens Fall Engagement
What we love about Kelsey and Josh is how well they had their engagement session planned out. They go to the Gardens often but it is more than just a pretty spot for them. With annual memberships to the garden, they come here often. The spots they picked were meaningful to them, and we loved it! In the Japanese cherry blossom garden, the fall colors were vibrant and rich. It was a gorgeous day to shoot for fall engagement pictures. The sun occasionally would poke out to warm our back but never out too long to interrupt our shots.
