Each wedding has us falling in love over and over again—it reminds us that there is wonder and mystery in this shared life we all build together. The most aspirational thing to us is rekindling that initial spark of falling in love. We want to give you that experience with your wedding photos, perfectly captured and forever remembered. We love our job. As Michigan wedding photographers, not only we do we get to create beautiful works of art but we get to meet with so many amazing couples. Couples that we might not otherwise have the opportunity to meet. Before we became wedding photographers, we used to think that we were kind of weird. In our network, we are the only couple that does everything together. We go out to eat together and enjoy as many date nights as possible, we play video games together, travel together, take ridiculous photos of our puppy, and love every opportunity we have to spend time with our families. Before we were wedding photographers, we didn’t really know another couple that was quite like us. But now we meet so many other couples who are EXACTLY like us that it is kind of creepy and we LOVE IT! Mackenzie and Matt are one of those couples and their engagement session at in downtown Grand Rapids is something we have been looking forward to since they first met with us!

Okay, so we get to hear some really incredible stories about how couples meet. But Mackenzie and Matt easily have the best story. Like hands down, there is no comparison. Their stories is so hilarious, we honestly think it should be the plot to a romantic comedy. But it so perfectly depicts the fun, easy-going personalities of Mackenzie and Matt. These two went above and beyond in styling for their pictures. As photographers, we couldn’t be happier. They looked amazing and their time and effort into piecing together their outfits will show when looking back on their engagement pictures for years to come.

Guys, we had the BEST time with you at your engagement session in downtown Grand Rapids. Mackenzie, we will never get over your reaction to the photos we share with you. Your excitement is incredible! We love it! Of all our weddings next year, your wedding at The Carriage House at Pine Knob is one that we are most excited about. We cannot wait to get to meet your family and hang out with you both on one of the most important days of your lives. Thank you so much for getting dinner with us after your engagement session and Mackenzie thank you so much for the sweet sign you made us! We have it proudly displayed in our living room and we will take it everywhere with us! We know that our friendship will last far beyond the wedding day and we are so happy we have met you both.
