Robinette’s Apple Orchard
We have been spending a lot of time at Robinette’s lately but the Michigan spring blossoms are just too beautiful to miss for Aleny’s quinceañera. The small white flowers are only in season for a few weeks of the year. So we wanted to take full advantage it while we had the chance!
Quinceañera are very special events full of rituals and symbolism that represent the girl going from a child to a young woman. Everything from the first waltz with her father, receiving her last doll, and changing her flat shoes to high heels, all represent this important transformation to womanhood. And it occurred to us how appropriate our shoot at Robinette’s with the springtime apple blossoms.
We cannot help but see some symbolism with Aleny and the enchanting white apple blossoms. The flowers, much like Aleny are coming into full bloom and at the peak of their beauty. Young and full of life, Aleny has grown from a little girl to a start her new journey as a young adult.
Quince Session Video Highlights
This was one of our first opportunities to work along side the talented Jeffrey Wachowicz. We hope to work with Jeffrey more regularly in the future for things like weddings and engagements. Jeffrey is amazingly gifted with his video skills and we cannot wait to see what he will do in the future with wedding videography.
Aleny & Maira
Maira and Aleny, thank you so much for allowing us to photograph you during this important time in your life. Aleny, you look so elegant, graceful, and incredibly gorgeous! Honestly, you are like a model and we cannot get over how stunning you look! Thank you for trusting us when we brought you to the mausoleum for the second half of your shoot! We knew it would look amazing in your photographs. And you did so good putting up with the cold as the sun was setting! We are looking forward to celebrating with you in a few weeks as you transition to womanhood!
