As grand rapids wedding photographers, we have been fortunate to have traveled to some of the most beautiful parts of the world and we would have never guessed our Battle Creek winter bridal session would be one of them. Let alone one of the best places in Michigan for wedding photos!
We have climbed to the top of the Effiel Tower and walked the cobbled streets of Rome. One thing that has stuck with us during our travels was how impressive old architecture is. A seemingly mundane setting can instantly be transformed into one that is impressive simply by the presence of an ornately gilded wall, a building’s iron facade, or a row of stone columns. So when we first learned of Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center in downtown Battle Creek, Michigan, we were blown away with how beautiful it is!
We have been looking all over Michigan for a location like Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center. The stone columns are simply GORGEOUS and remind us of our time in Rome. This is easily one of the best places in Michigan for wedding photos.
Allison & Aaron
Auburn hair sparkling with snowflakes. Twinkling blue earrings reflecting the light from the sun and snow. The broad smile from a loving husband. There was so much to like about Allison and Aaron’s Battle Creek winter bridal session. We weren’t sure if we should make the drive to Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center with the winter snowstorm and windchill that HAD to be in the single digits. Then it was questionable if the security guy would let us stay. But none of that stopped Allison and Aaron! They were pros during the bridal shoot. Alli looked STUNNING even though she was freezing! The white winter shawl was a great idea and perfect for this bridal session. And Aaron looked great even though his bow tie had other plans and didn’t stick around for the shoot.
We are constantly amazed at how resilient our clients are when it comes to shooting in cold weather. Much like the winter maternity sessions we have shot, you can’t even tell they were cold!
Guys, thank you so much for meeting us. We are so grateful to have this opportunity to photograph both of you. We hope to do it again sometime soon!
